To register in the IS - the information system of the Buben Club - and to gain basic membership (and therefore the internet you need to fill in a preregistration form.

Go to the web address is.buk.cvut.cz.
is.buk.cvut.cz is accessible from the internal dormitory network - that is, if you don't have internet[1], you can connect to wifi buk-registration. You may not have access to the global internet, but at least you can do this preregistration.

Start filling out the form. You can choose the same username as your KOS (5 first letters of surname + 3 first letters of first name), or name.surname (for example. johny.silverhand) Or any other way you like[2].

Fill in your personal details:
The CTU personal number is not a required field. Fill it in if you are a CTU student and already have a student account - you can find this number either in KOS, or in Usermap somewhere in your profile or on your ISIC card as Personal number. That's right, you can fill in this number later and leave it blank for now.

Fill in your permanent address.
If you are a foreigner - put in the address you have in your country of citizenship.

Pick a good password. You must remember this password or you will owe the registrar a beer for resetting your password
For convenient generation of a suitable password, we recommend you to generate one here.

Leave this section for now and move on. The registrar will assign the area and room.
You must know exactly where you will be staying - what room you have - before you get to the registrar, otherwise the registrar will not be able to complete your registration!

Enter here at least one email to which you want to receive important messages from the information system.

You can add a phone number if you want, it's not mandatory but it can be useful.
You can use IM to set up instant messaging - for example ICQ, Skype, Slack and so on. Again, it's not necessary.

Next, complete the pre-registration by verifying that you are not an AI and agreeing to the processing of your personal information.

You will receive a preregistration number upon completion. Remember this number. With this number, the registrar will be able to quickly find you in the pile of other students
Preregistration number is not a UID! Therefore, do not write this number in the application for admission to the club. The UID will be generated for you after registration is complete and the registrar will fill in the number for you!
